Me, Designer & Developer
I really got to learn about the data protection act and the implications it has on me as a consultant interacting with clients across various professions.
Dreamers and believers in the power of data, in the transformative role that data plays in creating and achieving value for organizations and individuals. With data, we unlock possibilities, empower and enable our clients leverage data to achieve operational efficiency, profitability, great customer experience and customer satisfaction.
The primary focus of the redesign is to focus on the website and then let that govern how we interact with clients in the print world (QR codes on banners/business cards etc)
The current site is a one pager, and with the objectives of adding new services to the site this might definitely change that to a multi-page website (most likely in a CMS)
The data protection act plays a key role here, as all organizations who essentially interact with clients data are the target audience i.e. your local kiosk owner who transacts with MPESA is a part of the audience. However their is a particular niche that needs to be focused on.
The primary focus here is to reduce the number of hops the decision maker needs to be able to onboard them as a client.
The results of the user journey clearly maps out what will be needed to cater to their needs, and below is an approach that helps guide which order it should be done in.
The designs below are a reflection of from the needs analysis that have been done, they are not final but just act as a guideline on items should look and feel, so as to empower the communications team to eventually be able to quickly modify certian items (e.g. business cards).
